Secretary General Jonatan Vseviov was in New Delhi, India from 17 to 19 March, attending the international security conference Raisina Dialogue and meeting with representatives of India.
During his visit, Vseviov met with Shri Tanmaya Lal, Secretary of India’s Ministry of External Affairs; Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, Secretary of the Ministry of Defence; Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s External Affairs Adviser Deepak Mittal; Deputy National Security Advisor of India Shri T.V. Ravichandran, and Chairman of the Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee Dr Shashi Tharoor.
The meetings covered bilateral relations, Russia’s aggression in Ukraine, and broader security issues in Europe and the Indo-Pacific region. They also explored options for expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
The secretary general also had a bilateral meeting with the Secretary General of Armenia’s Foreign Ministry Davit Karapetyan.
Vseviov also attended the Raisina Dialogue, one of the most influential international security policy conferences, speaking on the panel dedicated to the partnership between India and the European Union, and global challenges.
