Today, 27 May, Foreign Ministry Secretary General Jonatan Vseviov
met with Norwegian State Secretary Maria Varteressian in Tallinn.
The meeting discussed Russia’s aggression in Ukraine, opportunities for continued and unwavering support for Ukraine, and strengthening Europe’s defence capabilities. Secretary General Vseviov stressed the need for a broader implementation of sanctions in order to slow down Russia’s war machine. Their meeting also covered opportunities for strengthening bilateral and regional co-operation in the Nordic-Baltic (NB8) format, including on the protection of maritime traffic and critical infrastructure in the Baltic Sea.
