On 13–15 February, Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna will participate in the Munich Security Conference in Germany, where he is scheduled to take part in several panel discussions and hold bilateral meetings.
Among other engagements, Estonia is organising a meeting of the Nordic and Baltic foreign ministers with Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrii Sybiha. At the invitation of the EU High Representative Kaja Kallas, there will also be a coordination meeting of European Union foreign ministers.
In Munich, the foreign minister will participate, together with the Polish foreign minister and the Swedish minister for defence, in a panel discussion on countering Russia’s hybrid threats, as well as in a discussion on the use of Russia’s frozen assets.
On 14 February at 18:30 Estonian time, the foreign minister will deliver a keynote address at a Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung discussion entitled “Weaponising the Mind: Rethinking Trust in Times of Cognitive Warfare.” The event can be followed via live stream: https://www.youtube.com/live/O0DCO5uvTYA
In Munich, Foreign Minister Tsahkna will also meet with the foreign ministers of the Philippines and Liechtenstein.
